OK, I realize this might be an extreme reaction to some folks, but our oldest daughter is out-of-town through 'til Monday. We've never been separated for any length of time, ever before (well unless you count the time I was due to deliver youngest son---13 years ago---and husband sent me to a hotel for the weekend), and I miss her already. She's only been gone a few hours. Yeah, I'm a mom.Tough when you consider your own child as a best friend. Hard to be apart. And while I want her to have a delightful time, I still miss seeing her face. Funny, when she'd not be at home now anyway, but would ordinarily be at work.
Love's funny that way.
